Hey! If you have ever been around me, you'll know that I'm in love with TBS(Thomas Brodie-Sangster). Today, I am posting another reason why I love him.

The Flare

The Flare (virus VC321xb47) is a man made disease. It is a virus that slowly eats away the brain, and eventually turns victims into blood thirsty and insane humans who consider cannibalism to be an every day objective. People who get the Flare are called Cranks. Every major city in the world (that has not been wiped away by the sun flares) has a special territory for cranks called the Crank Palace. The public are led to believe that it was freed from containment by the sun flares, but that is not the truth. It was once rumored that the sun flares caused a military container to burst, releasing the flare. However, it is revealed in The Death Cure's exclusive files, and The Kill Order that the governments of the world created and released it as a population control method. This is due to a need to control the general populace during the turbulent times of the sun flares, as well as to cut population, due to the destruction of food resources by the sun flares.

A small percentage of the populations were labelled "Immunes"- people who are not affected by the flare. WICKED attempted to use the Immunes to find a cure by looking at how the brain  of the Immune people react to certain situations , as well as the physical make-up of the brain of the Final Candidate. People immun to the flare include Thomas, Minho, Brenda, Jorge, and less than 1% of the Earths population. Most of the subjects are immune.

Trivia

In the book, The Game of Lives (book three of the mortality doctrine), in the epilouge, James Dashner decribes the protagonist as a Flare infected Crank.

 References

Crank Palaces are filled with people who have just arrived and are not past the Gone, and people who are crazy (past the Gone who are trying to eat them up).

Awkward Habits

Hey guys! Once again, today I am going to be talking about my weird and awkward habits.

Nail biting:   This isn't exactly a habit, but I do it almost every day, and I dont exactly remember when I started to bite my nails.

Necklace chewing: I got a necklace made out of wood that is in the shape of a shark tooth and I have been chewing on the end whenever I get nervous or stressed.

Finger skin picking: When I was little, I was playng in my front yard and I noticed a small patch of skin that was becoming loose from my finger. I made the amazing decision to pick at it, ad peel it from my finger. After that I just kept peeling and peeling. I dont like it, but i cant go a day without doing it.

Step 1: Take vocal lessons or learn to play an instrument.

Step 2: Put together a band.

Step 3: Keep practising!

Step 4: Write your music and make it something you like.

Step 5: Record some of your music after you have memorised the lyrics or music.

Step 6: Allow your closest friends to listen to and consider your music.

Step 7: Let a group of people listen to your music after you have made some changes.

Step 8: Play at gigs.

Step 9: Save your money wisely and don't quit your part time or full time job.

Step 10: Create a band/artist website featuring pictures, your show calendar, and previous employers for other pubs to see will give you a leg up.

Step 11: Hand out Cd's of your music to people you know/meet, or even to strangers, this might help you get more fans and/or get a record deal.

Step 12: Record your bands music video and upload it to You Tube.

Step 13: Tell your friends to recommend your music to as many people as possible; the effect will snowball, and you may have an even larger fan base.

Step 14: Never give up;even if it seems like you are not getting anywhere;don't call it quits.

Step 15: Love what you do.

Step 16: Try to compose your own type of song.

Thomas Brodie Sangster (also known as Thomas Sangster) is a 25 year old actor, and musician from Southward, England. He was born on May 16th, 1990 to Mark Sangster and Tasha Bertram. He has a sister, Ava Sangster. He is best  known for his role as Jojen Reed in Game of Thrones, his voice as Ferb Fletcher in Phineas and Ferb, as John Tracy in the ITV series Thunderbirds Are Go, as well as his roles as Sam in Richard Curtis's Love Actually and Newt in the 2014 film The Maze Runner, and its 2015 sequel, Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials. Overall, he's awesome!
